“One thing that we believe is that the church is a blessing machine....What if, every church saw that its purpose in gathering were for its members to encourage each other to keep doing good deeds, and then these people went out into their perspective worlds with the understanding that ‘to let your light shine’ means; to search out: What are the deeds in front of me that need to be done and which I can help people, bless people, serve people with no agenda? What if every church asked the question, ‘how can we be such a blessing, a pure, unadulterated generous blessing, to our community that people in our community who believe the most opposite things as us, would say, “God is good” because of the kinds of things we were doing?” – Rob Bell
